I really wish you had hyphenated "one-night-stand." I stared blankly at my computer for about ten minutes trying to visualize someone's son emerging from a night stand. And not just any night stand, mind you, but the ONE night stand we're all supposed to know about. What?? I know Matt references some pretty obscure things, but seriously, WHAT??!!...
Finally it dawned on me.
Just like the next time you lay one of your T-shirts on the bed to fold it, and realize what letter of the English alphabet it vaguely resembles.

I've been up all night catching up on 2 1/2 months of you're blog. Hilarious! And enlightening! I wish I was half as insightful and brilliant as you. Hope you arrive safely, we miss having you around ("we" is wayyy less fruity than "I," which is what I actually mean). Got some beers to split with you. Peace out.

to the very last entry you took us along with you on your incredible adventure... i have hung on every word you spoke (even the ones i didn't understand and the ones that made me confused with my own english). i have loved every lesson you taught... about life, and politics, and conflict, and living alone... and i have marvelled at every epiphany you had. thank you for sharing your journey and for making me feel like i could see it and smell it and touch it... and thank you for helping me love the land and the people and the language through you. now hurry home, because i missed you.
